He has more than 20 years of work experience in both public and private sectors. Currently, he is occupying the role of HR & Administration Director at Arabian Industries Group Companies. His functional core competencies are in the areas of strategic human resources planning, talent development, performance management, leadership development. He participated in various conferences and published some of the articles in reputed journals. He has been certified as a peer reviewer to ELSEVIER. He has been also conferred with the “501 Fabulous Global HR leaders of the World” in 2020 and “Global HR Champions” in 2021 by the World HRD Congress at Mumbai. Dr. Al Darmaki is a visiting lecturer at some of the higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman at Business & Accounting Department. Abdullah also served as the Head of Compensation and Organization for Aramco Services Company in Houston in addition to development assignments with Chevron and Mercer. Since April 2015, he’s lead the Human Resources Policy and Planning (HRP&P) Department with enterprise-wide accountability for developing Saudi Aramco’s compensation, benefits, and personnel policy programs impacting 65,000 worldwide employees.
